DAISY Digital Talking BookDAISY 2.02: structured navigation for print-disabled readers
DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) is the international family of standards for accessible audio documents and digital talking books, maintained by the DAISY Consortium.
Unlike MP3 files, DAISY books allow navigation by heading, section, and paragraph, giving print-disabled readers the same structural access that sighted readers enjoy.
The DAISY files on this site are text-only DAISY 2.02 books (type: textNcc). When opened in a DAISY player, the player reads the content aloud using its own text-to-speech engine.
